Located in the midst of a residential area of the valley, Bhaisepati, Walter’s Mitho-Mitho offers a beautifully shaded Munich-style Beer Garden, a cosy and sunny Garden lounge with outdoor bar and of course Monssoon- proofed inside familiar guest rooms. Here you could spend entire afternoon in the shades of avocado trees with your family, friends or loved ones and can truly believe that life is good.

Owned by Walter Schwinger with nearly three decades of experience in field of restaurant business, originally started the restaurant at Babarmahal. Later, the restaurant expanded and shifted to Jhamsikhel serving culinary delights across globe that includes Austrian, Arabian, Mexican, German and Continental cuisines and now caters to multi cuisines lovers at Bhaisepati.

Walter’s mitho mitho probably serves the best Pork Chop in the town. Marinated with their special Himalayan herbs for an hour, the pork is cooked to perfection and is served with demi-glace sauce. Chicken Sworma, a Middle Eastern dish is another speciality of this place. An Arabic flattened bread stuffed with capsicums, onions, garlic and with the rich taste of the grilled chicken served along with fatule salad is a must try.

“The sole purpose of Walter’s is to cater our customers with a healthy and hygienic menu that varies from famous cuisines around the globe” says Anil Basnet, manager at Walters. They also arrange a buffet at short notice ranging from 10 to 500 in person. For those who cannot go without alcohol, they even provide guest house facilities to keep you safe from mapase. The restaurant also has traditional bowling alley and offers free Carlsberg for those who can score by striking all the pins. Letting your children play around the special children hut or feeding the rabbits that are hopping around, Walter’s mitho mitho is a perfect place to relax with your family. The sibling chef duos, Hari Pd. Dhital and Arjun Pd. Dhital here prepares the exotic dishes that can be found only at Walters. One of them is their special German dish Spatchule. The dish has a little bit of everything; prepared with home-made egg flour dough and is served along beetroot salad, mix bean patties and sour crout. Another Middle Eastern dish, Vegg Sagi is a great delight to the veggie lovers. The grilled seasonal vegetables garnished with the fatus salad; seasonal vegetables mixed with olive oil and apple vinegar served with garlic sauce can definitely be treat for your taste buds.
