Just a six month old and targeted for high-end customers and tourists, their two special restaurants are open to all guests.  Among them is the Erma Restaurant. A Tibetan contemporary styled ambiance, an outdoor spacious lounge with serene waterfall, fully equipped authentic wine & signature cocktails bar, cloud painted walls with a mild lighting and with fresh flowers in the entrance door, this is how Erma Restaurant welcomes you.

Erma restaurant, located on the ground floor of the hotel offers a range of Continental and Asian cuisines prepared by their experienced chefs. One can also enjoy freshly made espresso beverages with fresh bread and pastries baked in-house. The cafe offers both indoor and outdoor dining options by the garden and the bar accommodating total of 80 people.

The word “Erma” means culture in Tibetan language and we here focus on providing the cuisines all over the world with personalized Nepalese and Tibetan hospitality” says the executive chef, Mr. Gyanendra Poudel who also look after the restaurant as manager and F&D executive.  Mr. Poudel greeted us with the first signature dish of Erma, Nasi Goreng, where ‘Nasi’ stands for fried and ‘Goreng’ stands for rice. This Thai/Indonesian influenced fried rice, cooked with shrimps and chicken, served with prawn crackers, poached egg , bbq chicken and peanut butter sauce will fulfil your cravings for Thai culinary delight.

Their Chef special chicken wrap, a chicken roasted in clay oven and wrapped in French bread served with green chutney and onions is well presented and is mild in taste. Another dish that will mesmerize your taste buds is Norwegian Grilled Salmon. This delicious continental dish consists of grilled salmon fillet, mash potatoes, sauted green vegetables and one can have choices of sauce ranging from pepper, tomato salsa, apple and or cream sauce.

Make sure you save a little space for their Mango Yogurt Cake which is an art itself treating your eyes and taste buds at the same time. Their desserts can assure every bite melting in mouth with an irresistible look. The restaurant also organizes corporate brunches and musical events on special request of guests. “We try to give our personal touch so that customers feel closer to us” added Mr. Poudel. It is one of the best looking restaurants in the town which offers a value meal worth for every penny you spend.
